The one-on-one tutoring program lasts approximately three months, assuming weekly one-hour sessions. In addition to the session time, learners should plan for about 1 to 2.5 hours of practice and homework each week.
We also offer a popular and effective alternative to one-on-one tutoring called “Conversation Clubs.” In these online group meetings, small groups of students meet with one of our volunteer tutors.
Participation is encouraged for all interested learners to get the full benefit of the program, but meetings are not mandatory.
Conversation Clubs are a wonderful way to improve your English, socialize with other students across the United States, and gain a sense of community.
